Aluminum Flux

Aluminum Flux

AdTech aluminum flux is white (slight gray) powdery fine particles, and the main components are compounds such as chloride and fluoride salts. After proper heat treatment and sieving, the particle size is uniform and can carry gas in the refining. It can also be sprayed directly on the surface of the molten metal and stirred evenly to separate impurities. It is environmentally friendly and economical, and meets the requirements of high-value-added and high-tech aluminum alloy precision casting for aviation and transportation.

Product features and characteristics:

1. Effectively cover the surface of molten metal and reduce the oxidation of aluminum during the smelting process
2. Does not change the aluminum metal composition, does not pollute the aluminum liquid
3. There is no smoke and dust during use, keeping the workshop production environment clean
4. Not affected by the season, available at any time, no fire hazard
5. Produced by a professional factory, with guaranteed quality

Aluminum Flux Instructions for Foundry and Smelter

Put the fine powder into the powder sprayer and spray it into the molten aluminum through the air outlet pipe

The gas pipe is as close as possible to the bottom of the molten pool and pulled out from the gas pipe to make the refining agent and the molten aluminum fully contact to achieve the purpose of refining.

During the refining operation, the operator can freely control the flow of carrier gas and refining agent through the barometer and the speed of the powder feeder, thereby controlling the tumbling degree of the molten aluminum and minimizing secondary pollution.

Use a special refining powder sprayer to spray the carrier gas (nitrogen or argon) to the bottom of the molten pool. Countless bubbles are formed in the molten aluminum, and they are in full contact with the melt as the bubbles float from bottom to top.

Through physical and chemical action, the gas and inclusions in the molten aluminum are brought to the surface of the molten aluminum, and the purpose of degassing and slag removal is achieved at the same time. After a large number of applications, it has been proved that this type of refining agent has a significant effect on the degassing and slag removal of pure aluminum and aluminum alloys.
