Rotating Rotor Degassing

Rotating Rotor Degassing

The purpose of the rotating rotor degassing is to break up the large inert gas bubbles into very fine small bubbles and make them evenly dispersed in the molten metal. By reducing the bubble diameter, the surface of the purified gas is actively enlarged, which allows more inert bubble surfaces to contact the hydrogen and impurities in the molten metal to bring these harmful substances to the surface of the liquid.

The key to the degassing of the rotating rotor is that the rotor can disperse the large inert gas bubbles into very small bubbles and diffuse them in the entire molten metal. By reducing the bubble diameter, the surface of the purified gas is greatly enlarged, which allows more inert gas surfaces to contact the hydrogen and impurities in the molten metal.

The flow control of the inert gas can adjust the flow of the gas according to the volume of the metal liquid to be processed, and the speed of the rotating rod and the rotor can be adjusted to generate bubbles of appropriate size to facilitate the diffusion of the inert gas.

Rotating Rotor Degassing

The standard design of the AdTech degassing unit rotating rotor is made of silicon nitride, and the service life is more than 2 years (the longest service life can be 5 years). It has strong advantages in aluminum corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, oxidation resistance, abrasion resistance, mechanical strength, etc. It can be soaked for a long time without abrasion. The shaft is 60mm and the head diameter is 200mm. Minimize the stirring resistance to the melt. The high-speed 450-550 rpm design can break the bubbles to the maximum extent and disperse the bubbles to all corners of the inner cavity in the largest range. There will be no change in performance and long-term stable degassing effect. The stability of the degassing efficiency, the service life is best, the labor cost of replacing the rotor is lower.
