This means that the most famous aluminum industry giant in Russia has approved and used our products.<\/p>\n<p>Rusal Aluminum said that since the advent of ceramic foam filter (CFF) in the 1970s, due to its high porosity, large adsorption area, and good filtering and purifying effect on aluminum melt, it is widely used in aluminum casting .<\/p>\n<p>The size of the filter can be determined according to the size of the CFF porosity, that is, the number of holes per inch (ppi).<\/p>\n<p>Existing CFF products range from 8 ppi to 70 ppi. General aluminum melting and casting plants use 10 ppi to 20 ppi specifications for small castings, which can remove coarse inclusions and improve the quality of castings.<\/p>\n<p>The 30 ppi filter used in the production of large-size castings in large aluminum processing enterprises is not ideal for impurity removal.<\/p>\n<p>The use of a higher specification filter will easily cause the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/ar\/asian-foundry-filters\/\">\u0645\u0631\u0634\u062d\u0627\u062a \u00ab\u0622\u0633\u064a\u0627\u0646 \u0641\u0627\u0648\u0646\u062f\u0631\u064a\u00bb<\/a> to block and shorten the service life of the filter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aluminum is a kind of active metal.<\/strong>\u00a0It is easy to be oxidized to form alumina in the smelting process. At the same time, it is easy to chemically react with a small amount of water vapor in the air to generate alumina inclusions and hydrogen.<\/p>\n<p>The aluminum oxide film carried in the molten aluminum folds and entangles with each other under the action of turbulent flow. When the molten aluminum solidifies, a tortuous crack path is formed in the casting.<\/p>\n<p>When this crack path penetrates the two surfaces of the casting, it will inevitably lead to the leakage of the casting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5158\" src=\"http:\/\/alalloycasting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Foundry-Filters-to-Rusal-Aluminum-1.jpg\" alt=\"Foundry Filters to Rusal Aluminum\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Foundry-Filters-to-Rusal-Aluminum-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Foundry-Filters-to-Rusal-Aluminum-1-300x240.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In order to meet the finishing performance of aluminum alloy, the manufacturers of aluminum alloy plates, strips and foils put forward higher requirements for the plasticity of aluminum and its alloys.<\/p>\n<p>The content, shape and distribution of inclusions in the alloy are important factors affecting its plasticity.<\/p>\n<p>Large particles of inclusions will make the ingot structure discontinuous, reduce the air tightness of the material, become the source of corrosion, and often become the source of cracks in the processing process, significantly reducing the strength and plasticity of the material.<\/p>\n<p>The fine inclusions are distributed in the metal melt, which increases the inhalation tendency and viscosity of the melt, thereby reducing the feeding ability of the alloy and easily forming shrinkage cavities or porosity.<\/p>\n<p>For high-strength alloys, the mechanical strength and reliability of use are reduced.<br \/>\nPurifying the aluminum alloy melt to reduce the hydrogen, oxide film, and non-metallic solid inclusions to an allowable level is of great significance for improving the quality of alloy materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Foundry Filters to other countries<\/strong>\u00a0can not only improve the quality of aluminum products, but other products such as CFF Unit, Degassing Unit, Hot-top casting series and other aluminum casting products can provide a complete set of solutions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Foundry Filters to Rusal Aluminum\u00a0is a landmark development for Adtech.
