In the casting process of aluminum rods, the aluminum liquid in the mixing furnace needs to undergo deoxidation and other processes, usually by adding calcium oxide, etc., and then the aluminum liquid is poured into the deep well casting system through the launder for casting into aluminum rods. Although molten aluminum is slag-skimmed before it flows out of the mixing furnace, it is difficult to clean it thoroughly, so it is inevitable that it will contain impurities such as calcium oxide. And when the aluminum liquid flows in the \u0642\u0646\u0627\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0628<\/a>, the surface aluminum liquid contacts the air in a large area and is oxidized to alumina. Whether calcium oxide or alumina is involved in the casting of aluminum rods, it will seriously affect the quality of the cast aluminum rods. These impurities must be cleaned up. AdTech provides molten aluminium baffle to solve the problem of time-consuming and laborious cleaning of impurities such as alumina and calcium oxide in the prior art.<\/p>\n

The aluminum liquid flow tank includes a settling tank. The two opposite sides of the settling tank are respectively connected with flow channels for the aluminum liquid to pass through. The bottom of the settling tank is lower than the bottom of the flow channel. The middle of the settling tank is provided with a vertical downward baffle. The bottom is higher than the bottom of the sedimentation tank and lower than the bottom of the runner.<\/p>\n

\"Molten<\/p>\n

The aluminum liquid flowing out of the mixing furnace enters the sedimentation tank through the flow channel on the side of the sedimentation tank. Because the middle of the sedimentation tank is equipped with a baffle, the bottom of the baffle is higher than the bottom of the sedimentation tank and lower than the bottom of the flow channel, so the aluminum liquid will flow downward, through the opening under the baffle, and then flow out from the flow channel on the other side of the sedimentation tank. In this way, the molten aluminum forms a “U”-shaped flow trajectory in the settling tank, which increases the residence time in the molten aluminum settling tank, and allows the calcium oxide and other impurities mixed in the molten aluminum to have sufficient time to stand still, because the density of the impurities is less than molten aluminum, so impurities will gradually float to the surface of molten aluminum.<\/p>\n

The alumina formed by the contact between molten aluminum and oxygen also floats on the surface of the molten aluminum, and then due to the presence of molten aluminium baffle, these two types of impurities are blocked on the side of the sedimentation tank and do not enter the subsequent casting, ensuring the aluminum rod quality. In addition, these impurities can sink to the bottom of the pool after the molten aluminum is finished, and be cleaned uniformly, which is much more convenient than the traditional casting and cleaning of impurities, which reduces a lot of labor.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
