Por lo general, no resulta pr\u00e1ctico proporcionar un soporte vertical externo al canal en ninguna posici\u00f3n intermedia a lo largo de su extensi\u00f3n. En su lugar, el canal se apoya en ambos extremos y est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado con la resistencia estructural suficiente para soportar su propio peso y el del aluminio fundido que contiene.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, un sistema de detecci\u00f3n del nivel de metal no solo requiere que la canaleta sea lo suficientemente resistente como para sostenerse por s\u00ed misma, sino tambi\u00e9n que sea lo suficientemente resistente como para crear y mantener una plataforma de medici\u00f3n estable desde la que se puedan realizar mediciones del nivel de metal fundido.<\/p>\n<p>De este modo, el nivel del metal fundido se controla y se mantiene en relaci\u00f3n con la altura del canal de distribuci\u00f3n de metal. Cualquier variaci\u00f3n en la altura del canal provocar\u00e1 un cambio correspondiente en el nivel de aluminio fundido dentro de la estaci\u00f3n de fundici\u00f3n situada debajo.
