Seg\u00fan ha afirmado el profesor Xinghang Zhang, de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de Materiales de Purdue, su objetivo es mejorar la maleabilidad y la baja resistencia mec\u00e1nica de algunas aleaciones ligeras de aluminio, con el fin de allanar el camino para una aplicaci\u00f3n industrial m\u00e1s generalizada.
