Elles utilisent du phosphate comme liant haute temp\u00e9rature, ce qui permet de r\u00e9pondre aux exigences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales en mati\u00e8re de purification et de filtration de l'aluminium fondu. Elles pr\u00e9sentent toutefois des risques cach\u00e9s de corrosion et de pollution environnementale. Le magn\u00e9sium pr\u00e9sent dans les alliages d\u2019aluminium \u00e0 haute teneur en magn\u00e9sium r\u00e9agit avec le phosphate d\u2019aluminium \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature comprise entre 600 et 800 \u00b0C, d\u00e9truisant ainsi le liant haute temp\u00e9rature de la plaque filtrante en c\u00e9ramique et alt\u00e9rant sa structure. Dans les cas les plus graves, la plaque filtrante sera endommag\u00e9e. Des fragments se d\u00e9tachent, contaminent l\u2019aluminium en fusion et produisent simultan\u00e9ment du phosphure de magn\u00e9sium et du phosphure d\u2019aluminium, qui subiront une r\u00e9action d\u2019hydrolyse lorsqu\u2019ils seront expos\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019humidit\u00e9 ou \u00e0 l\u2019eau pr\u00e9sente dans l\u2019air, lib\u00e9rant ainsi de la phosphine, un gaz toxique et inflammable, et polluant l\u2019environnement. En raison du coefficient de dilatation thermique \u00e9lev\u00e9 et du module d\u2019\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 important de l\u2019alumine, les contraintes thermiques sont importantes lors d\u2019un pr\u00e9chauffage rapide, ce qui favorise l\u2019apparition de fissures. Cela entra\u00eene un \u201c effondrement de la plaque \u201d pendant l\u2019utilisation, provoquant une interruption de la coul\u00e9e ou la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019inclusions de scories dans le produit.<\/p>\n<p>Compte tenu de cette situation, apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es de recherche, Adtech a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 mettre au point un nouveau type de plaque filtrante en c\u00e9ramique alv\u00e9ol\u00e9e, r\u00e9sistante \u00e0 la corrosion et respectueuse de l'environnement, qui ne contient pas de phosphore (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adtechamm.com\/portfolio-tag\/phosphorus-free-ceramic-foam-filter\/\"><strong>Filtre en mousse c\u00e9ramique sans phosphore<\/strong><\/a>), en utilisant un sel de bore comme liant haute temp\u00e9rature afin d\u2019\u00e9viter la corrosion des \u00e9l\u00e9ments en magn\u00e9sium pr\u00e9sents dans l\u2019alliage, tout en int\u00e9grant des plaques filtrantes anticorrosion \u00e0 faible coefficient de dilatation. L\u2019ensemble \u00e9vite l\u2019\u00e9rosion de l\u2019aluminium et du magn\u00e9sium, r\u00e9duit consid\u00e9rablement les contraintes thermiques g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es lors du pr\u00e9chauffage rapide et pr\u00e9sente une grande r\u00e9sistance aux chocs thermiques. R\u00e9cemment, un essai de production \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 \u00e0 bien.
