La cuve chauffante sert \u00e0 transporter du m\u00e9tal en fusion ; elle comprend une enveloppe ext\u00e9rieure d\u00e9limit\u00e9e par une paroi de fond et deux parois lat\u00e9rales, une couche isolante remplissant cette enveloppe, ainsi qu'un corps de goulotte r\u00e9fractaire en forme de U destin\u00e9 \u00e0 recevoir le m\u00e9tal en fusion. Au moins un \u00e9l\u00e9ment chauffant est situ\u00e9 dans la couche isolante, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la goulotte mais \u00e0 distance de celle-ci, afin de cr\u00e9er un espace d'air entre l'\u00e9l\u00e9ment chauffant et la goulotte.<\/p>\n
