Lorsque la teneur en scories et en gaz dans la masse fondue d'aluminium et d'alliages d'aluminium est trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e, cela augmente consid\u00e9rablement le risque de d\u00e9fauts m\u00e9tallurgiques, tels que la porosit\u00e9 et les inclusions dans la brame. Cela r\u00e9duit alors la r\u00e9sistance et la plasticit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau et affecte la qualit\u00e9 de surface du produit. Lorsque la teneur en sodium de l\u2019alliage d\u2019aluminium est trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e, une couche d\u2019adsorption liquide se forme facilement \u00e0 la surface ou aux joints de grains de la dendrite lors du formage \u00e0 chaud, ce qui entra\u00eene une fissuration fragile de l\u2019alliage d\u2019aluminium \u00e0 haute teneur en magn\u00e9sium. La production actuelle de flux pour alliages d\u2019aluminium repose principalement sur un simple m\u00e9lange m\u00e9canique des diff\u00e9rents composants ; cette m\u00e9thode ne permet pas d\u2019\u00e9liminer compl\u00e8tement l\u2019humidit\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente dans le flux.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les bains de fusion d\u2019alliages d\u2019aluminium soumis \u00e0 un contr\u00f4le strict de la teneur en gaz et en m\u00e9taux alcalins, outre l\u2019utilisation d\u2019azote ou d\u2019argon comme gaz d\u2019affinage, il est souvent n\u00e9cessaire de recourir \u00e0 du chlore gazeux, plus r\u00e9actif, et \u00e0 de l\u2019hexachloro\u00e9thane pour le traitement de la masse fondue. Bien que le chlore et l\u2019hexachloro\u00e9thane aient un bon effet d\u2019affinage, ils pr\u00e9sentent un danger pour la sant\u00e9 des travailleurs, les \u00e9quipements et l\u2019environnement, et peuvent mettre la vie en danger dans les cas graves.<\/p>\n<p>L'ajout de fondant de raffinage de l'aluminium dans la fonderie d'aluminium permet d'am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des pi\u00e8ces moul\u00e9es.
