Le vanadium a \u00e9galement pour effet d'affiner la structure de recristallisation et d'augmenter la temp\u00e9rature de recristallisation.<\/p>\n<p>Le calcium pr\u00e9sente une tr\u00e8s faible solubilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat solide dans les alliages d'aluminium et forme des compos\u00e9s CaAl\u2084 avec l'aluminium. Le calcium est \u00e9galement un \u00e9l\u00e9ment conf\u00e9rant une superplasticit\u00e9 aux alliages d'aluminium. Les alliages contenant environ 5% de calcium et 5% de mangan\u00e8se pr\u00e9sentent une superplasticit\u00e9. Le calcium et le silicium forment du CaSi, qui est insoluble dans l\u2019aluminium. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de la solution solide de silicium, la conductivit\u00e9 de l\u2019aluminium pur industriel peut \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Leur solubilit\u00e9 dans l'aluminium \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat solide est faible, ce qui r\u00e9duit l\u00e9g\u00e8rement la r\u00e9sistance de l'alliage, mais peut am\u00e9liorer ses performances d'usinage. Le bismuth se dilate pendant le processus de solidification, ce qui est b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour le retrait. L'ajout de bismuth \u00e0 l'alliage \u00e0 haute teneur en magn\u00e9sium emp\u00eache la fragilisation par le sodium.<br \/>\nL'antimoine est principalement utilis\u00e9 comme modificateur dans les alliages d'aluminium moul\u00e9s ; il est rarement utilis\u00e9 dans les alliages d'aluminium d\u00e9form\u00e9s. Le b\u00e9ryllium est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment toxique pouvant provoquer une intoxication allergique. Par cons\u00e9quent, les alliages d\u2019aluminium entrant en contact avec les aliments et les boissons ne doivent pas contenir de b\u00e9ryllium. La teneur en b\u00e9ryllium des mat\u00e9riaux de soudage est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement maintenue en dessous de 8 \u03bcg\/ml. L\u2019alliage d\u2019aluminium utilis\u00e9 comme base de soudage doit \u00e9galement respecter cette limite de teneur en b\u00e9ryllium.<\/p>\n<p>Le sodium est pratiquement insoluble dans l'aluminium : sa solubilit\u00e9 maximale dans la phase solide est inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 0,0025%, et son point de fusion est bas (97,8 \u00b0C). Lorsque du sodium est pr\u00e9sent dans l\u2019alliage, il est adsorb\u00e9 \u00e0 la surface des dendrites ou aux joints de grains pendant la solidification. Lors du formage \u00e0 chaud, le sodium pr\u00e9sent aux joints de grains forme une couche d\u2019adsorption liquide. En cas de fissuration par fragilit\u00e9, des compos\u00e9s NaAlSi se forment sans sodium libre, et il n\u2019y a pas de \u201c fragilit\u00e9 au sodium \u201d. Lorsque la teneur en magn\u00e9sium d\u00e9passe 21 TP3T, le magn\u00e9sium se lie au silicium et pr\u00e9cipite le sodium libre, ce qui entra\u00eene une \u201c fragilisation par le sodium \u201d. Par cons\u00e9quent, l\u2019utilisation de fondants \u00e0 base de sel de sodium est interdite pour les alliages d\u2019aluminium \u00e0 haute teneur en magn\u00e9sium. La m\u00e9thode permettant de pr\u00e9venir la \u201c fragilisation par le sodium \u201d est la chloration, qui permet au sodium de former du NaCl et d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9vacu\u00e9 dans les scories, tandis que l\u2019ajout de bismuth g\u00e9n\u00e8re du Na\u2082Bi dans la matrice m\u00e9tallique.
