{"id":6930,"date":"2020-12-10T03:19:24","date_gmt":"2020-12-10T03:19:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/?p=6930"},"modified":"2020-12-10T03:19:24","modified_gmt":"2020-12-10T03:19:24","slug":"filtration-of-molten-metal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/fr\/filtration-of-molten-metal\/","title":{"rendered":"Filtration du m\u00e9tal en fusion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Il existe bien s\u00fbr un besoin important d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la filtration et le d\u00e9gazage du m\u00e9tal en fusion afin d\u2019\u00e9liminer ou de r\u00e9duire au minimum ces impuret\u00e9s dans le produit moul\u00e9 final, en particulier pour l\u2019aluminium en fusion, notamment lorsque le m\u00e9tal obtenu est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 la fabrication de produits en aluminium, par exemple. Produits d\u00e9coratifs (tels que les bandes d\u00e9coratives) ou produits pr\u00e9sentant des sp\u00e9cifications cl\u00e9s (tels que les pi\u00e8ces forg\u00e9es et extrud\u00e9es pour l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique, ainsi que les mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res pour feuilles l\u00e9g\u00e8res). Les impuret\u00e9s susmentionn\u00e9es entra\u00eenent des pertes de performances du produit moul\u00e9 final, notamment en termes de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la traction et de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00e9tal en fusion, et plus particuli\u00e8rement l'aluminium en fusion dans la pratique, contient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des impuret\u00e9s gazeuses et solides entra\u00een\u00e9es et dissoutes qui nuisent au produit moul\u00e9 final. Ces impuret\u00e9s peuvent affecter la solidification du m\u00e9tal moul\u00e9 final apr\u00e8s la fusion, ce qui peut entraver le traitement ou nuire \u00e0 la ductilit\u00e9 du produit final, ou encore r\u00e9duire la facilit\u00e9 d'anodisation. Les impuret\u00e9s peuvent provenir de multiples sources. Par exemple, elles peuvent inclure des impuret\u00e9s m\u00e9talliques telles que les m\u00e9taux alcalins et les m\u00e9taux alcalino-terreux, ainsi que de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne dissous et des films d\u2019oxyde de surface pi\u00e9g\u00e9s et entra\u00een\u00e9s dans le m\u00e9tal en fusion. De plus, les inclusions peuvent provenir d\u2019impuret\u00e9s insolubles, telles que les carbures, les borures, etc., ou de la corrosion des mat\u00e9riaux r\u00e9fractaires des fours et des cuves.<\/p>\n<p>Des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s rigoureux de traitement des m\u00e9taux (tels que le flux gazeux ou la filtration en fusion) ont permis de r\u00e9duire au minimum la fr\u00e9quence de ces d\u00e9fauts. Cependant, ils n\u2019ont pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 ramener cette fr\u00e9quence \u00e0 un niveau satisfaisant pour les applications critiques. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s conventionnels de flux gazeux conducteur, tels que le flux de sole g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, consistent \u00e0 introduire un gaz de flux dans un four de maintien contenant une certaine quantit\u00e9 de m\u00e9tal en fusion. Cette proc\u00e9dure n\u00e9cessite l\u2019arr\u00eat du four pendant la circulation du gaz de flux, afin que la quantit\u00e9 de m\u00e9tal en cours de traitement reste constante et puisse \u00eatre trait\u00e9e. Cette m\u00e9thode pr\u00e9sente de nombreux inconv\u00e9nients, parmi lesquels une efficacit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite en raison de la longue p\u00e9riode d\u2019inactivit\u00e9 du four pendant le fluxage, ainsi qu\u2019une efficacit\u00e9 insuffisante due au faible rapport surface\/volume entre le flux gazeux et le m\u00e9tal en fusion. D\u2019autres facteurs incluent les contraintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019emplacement du four, qui permettent aux impuret\u00e9s de r\u00e9int\u00e9grer la masse fondue avant la coul\u00e9e, ainsi que des \u00e9missions \u00e9lev\u00e9es dues \u00e0 la grande quantit\u00e9 de flux requise et \u00e0 son lieu de circulation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 titre d'alternative aux flux de type \u00ab par lots \u00bb d\u00e9crits ci-dessus, certains <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/fr\/fluxes\/\">flux<\/a> sont utilis\u00e9s en s\u00e9rie. Autrement dit, les op\u00e9rations et les \u00e9quipements associ\u00e9s sont situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur du four de fusion ou du four de maintien, et se trouvent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement entre le four de fusion et le four de maintien, ou entre le four de maintien et le poste de coul\u00e9e. Cela permet d\u2019att\u00e9nuer les pertes d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat du four, mais ne parvient pas \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer de mani\u00e8re significative le rendement op\u00e9rationnel, car une grande quantit\u00e9 de gaz de flux est souvent n\u00e9cessaire par unit\u00e9 de m\u00e9tal fondu, ce qui est co\u00fbteux et nuit \u00e0 la puret\u00e9 de l\u2019air.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionnellement, on recourt \u00e0 la filtration en fusion pour r\u00e9duire l\u2019ampleur des d\u00e9fauts susmentionn\u00e9s. La forme la plus courante de filtration en fusion consiste \u00e0 placer le m\u00e9tal en fusion dans un bac de transfert et de coul\u00e9e ou sur un lit de tissu de verre ouvert pos\u00e9 au-dessus d\u2019un lingot de m\u00e9tal solidifi\u00e9. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 que ces filtres ne sont que partiellement efficaces, car ils n\u2019\u00e9liminent que les inclusions de grande taille. Un autre filtre couramment utilis\u00e9 est, par exemple, un filtre \u00e0 lit constitu\u00e9 d\u2019alumine tubulaire. Ces filtres pr\u00e9sentent de nombreux inconv\u00e9nients, dont le plus grave est sans doute l\u2019\u00e9norme difficult\u00e9 rencontr\u00e9e pour contr\u00f4ler et maintenir la taille des pores n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 une filtration efficace. Une autre difficult\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 ces filtres est qu\u2019ils ont tendance \u00e0 produire un m\u00e9tal de mauvaise qualit\u00e9 initiale au d\u00e9but de chaque cycle de coul\u00e9e continue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/fr\/porous-foam-ceramic-materials\/\">Mat\u00e9riaux en mousse c\u00e9ramique poreuse<\/a>\u00a0sont particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la filtration du m\u00e9tal en fusion pour de nombreuses raisons, notamment leur excellente filtrabilit\u00e9, leur faible co\u00fbt, leur facilit\u00e9 d'utilisation et la possibilit\u00e9 de les utiliser \u00e0 usage unique. Le fait que ces filtres en mousse c\u00e9ramique soient pratiques et peu co\u00fbteux \u00e0 fabriquer, et qu\u2019ils puissent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s une seule fois, n\u00e9cessite la mise au point d\u2019un dispositif permettant de monter et de retirer facilement et commod\u00e9ment les filtres poreux pour m\u00e9tal en fusion de l\u2019unit\u00e9 de filtration.
