{"id":788,"date":"2020-04-10T09:11:44","date_gmt":"2020-04-10T09:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alalloycasting.com\/?p=788"},"modified":"2020-08-26T07:34:42","modified_gmt":"2020-08-26T07:34:42","slug":"purdue-aluminium-flux-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/fr\/purdue-aluminium-flux-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Recherche sur les fondants \u00e0 base d'aluminium \u00e0 Purdue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le centre de recherche \u00ab Purdue Aluminium Flux Research \u00bb a annonc\u00e9 le mois dernier que des chercheurs avaient mis au point une technologie permettant de modifier la microstructure de l'aluminium afin d'am\u00e9liorer sa ductilit\u00e9 et de lui conf\u00e9rer une r\u00e9sistance \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle de l'acier inoxydable.<\/p>\n<p>Cette technologie vise \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les complications li\u00e9es \u00e0 l'utilisation des alliages d'aluminium lors de la r\u00e9paration des carrosseries apr\u00e8s collision. Comme l'a indiqu\u00e9 le professeur Xinghang Zhang de l'\u00c9cole d'ing\u00e9nierie des mat\u00e9riaux de Purdue, l'objectif est d'am\u00e9liorer la souplesse et la faible r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique de certains alliages d'aluminium l\u00e9gers, afin de permettre une application industrielle plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e. Selon lui, des alliages d'aluminium l\u00e9gers et \u00e0 haute r\u00e9sistance, dot\u00e9s d'une r\u00e9sistance comparable \u00e0 celle des aciers inoxydables, r\u00e9volutionneraient les industries automobile et a\u00e9rospatiale.<\/p>\n<h2>Recherche sur les fondants \u00e0 base d'aluminium \u00e0 Purdue<\/h2>\n<p>Il estime qu\u2019une fois commercialis\u00e9, ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 pourra rendre les bouchons en aluminium encore plus attractifs qu\u2019ils ne le sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux yeux des \u00e9quipementiers.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Purdue, le r\u00e9seau cristallin d\u2019un m\u00e9tal est constitu\u00e9 de couches atomiques qui se r\u00e9p\u00e8tent ; les scientifiques appellent les couches manquantes des \u201c d\u00e9fauts d\u2019empilement \u201d et les doubles couches de d\u00e9fauts d\u2019empilement des \u201c limites de macles \u201d. Alors que le cuivre et l\u2019argent se pr\u00eatent facilement \u00e0 la formation de d\u00e9fauts d\u2019empilement, l\u2019\u00e9nergie de d\u00e9faut d\u2019empilement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de l\u2019aluminium rend leur induction artificielle plus difficile.<\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9quipe de recherche de Purdue a trouv\u00e9 le moyen d'augmenter la r\u00e9sistance et la ductilit\u00e9 des alliages d'aluminium, tout en am\u00e9liorant leur stabilit\u00e9 thermique.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats montrent comment fabriquer des alliages d'aluminium dont les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s sont \u00e9quivalentes, voire sup\u00e9rieures, \u00e0 celles des aciers inoxydables. \u201c Cette d\u00e9couverte pourrait avoir un impact commercial consid\u00e9rable \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Il permet de r\u00e9duire la fum\u00e9e et la poussi\u00e8re, de diminuer les d\u00e9chets de combustion et de prot\u00e9ger l'environnement de mani\u00e8re \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n<p>Le flux de raffinage r\u00e9sout le probl\u00e8me classique li\u00e9 au raffinage, \u00e0 savoir la production de grandes quantit\u00e9s d'ingr\u00e9dients et de cendres. Les additifs d'affinage d'AdTech sont dos\u00e9s \u00e0 raison de 1,5 \u00e0 2,0 kg par tonne, et la production de cendres est comprise entre 0,8 et 11 TP3T, ce qui r\u00e9pond aux exigences de la coul\u00e9e d'alliages d'aluminium de haute pr\u00e9cision, augmente efficacement le rendement en m\u00e9tal fondu de 0,6 \u00e0 0,81 TP3T, et permet de r\u00e9aliser des \u00e9conomies d\u2019\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s un traitement thermique et un tamisage appropri\u00e9s, le flux d'affinage pr\u00e9sente une granulom\u00e9trie homog\u00e8ne, ce qui facilite le transfert de l'aluminium contenu dans la cuve d'affinage, \u00e0 l'aide d'azote (N\u2082) ou d'argon (Ar) comme gaz vecteur, vers la couche inf\u00e9rieure de l'aluminium fondu, r\u00e9solvant ainsi
