O fluxo de desgaseifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 normalmente utilizado para reduzir o teor de hidrog\u00eanio da liga de alum\u00ednio fundida. A redu\u00e7\u00e3o do teor de hidrog\u00eanio melhorar\u00e1, sem d\u00favida, as propriedades mec\u00e2nicas da liga de alum\u00ednio resultante.<\/p>\n

Quando o fluxo de desgaseifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 utilizado na massa fundida de alum\u00ednio, um grande n\u00famero de bolhas \u00e9 gerado ou entra em rea\u00e7\u00e3o. Na superf\u00edcie de contato entre a bolha e o metal, existe inicialmente uma diferen\u00e7a de press\u00e3o parcial entre o interior da bolha e o hidrog\u00eanio presente no metal. Devido a essa diferen\u00e7a de press\u00e3o parcial, o hidrog\u00eanio da massa fundida penetra na bolha. Quando a bolha sobe at\u00e9 a superf\u00edcie do metal, o hidrog\u00eanio \u00e9 liberado para a atmosfera, promovendo a desgaseifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Impurezas relacionadas tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o levadas para a superf\u00edcie do metal fundido, promovendo a purifica\u00e7\u00e3o do metal fundido.<\/p>\n

O efeito da tecnologia de desgaseifica\u00e7\u00e3o na qualidade da liga de alum\u00ednio inclui n\u00e3o apenas o controle do teor de hidrog\u00eanio, mas tamb\u00e9m a qualidade final da massa fundida e sua pureza. O volume das bolhas aumenta \u00e0 medida que a molhabilidade da massa fundida piora. Aumentar a vaz\u00e3o de g\u00e1s ou reduzir o di\u00e2metro do bico reduz efetivamente o volume das bolhas. \u00c9 claro que a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do volume das bolhas pode melhorar o efeito da desgaseifica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Durante a fus\u00e3o da liga de alum\u00ednio, as part\u00edculas suspensas na massa fundida podem ser efetivamente reduzidas por flota\u00e7\u00e3o ou precipita\u00e7\u00e3o. A maioria das inclus\u00f5es de \u00f3xido \u00e9 mais pesada do que a massa fundida, por isso tendem a se depositar no fundo do cadinho. Al\u00e9m disso, as inclus\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m podem ser removidas por filtra\u00e7\u00e3o, o que aumenta significativamente a densidade das pe\u00e7as fundidas.<\/p>\n

A fluxo de cobertura<\/a> \u00c9 comumente utilizado para impedir que o alum\u00ednio fundido reaja com a atmosfera circundante ou sofra reoxida\u00e7\u00e3o. Neste estudo, as massas fundidas foram desgaseificadas com e sem um fluxo de cobertura, utilizando um difusor de barra porosa.
