Ele afeta o tamanho gradual dos poros de encolhimento, a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de tens\u00f5es, a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de trincas e a altera\u00e7\u00e3o nas dimens\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craqueamento t\u00e9rmico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A ocorr\u00eancia de trincas t\u00e9rmicas em pe\u00e7as fundidas de alum\u00ednio deve-se principalmente ao fato de a tens\u00e3o de contra\u00e7\u00e3o das pe\u00e7as exceder a for\u00e7a de liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre os gr\u00e3os do metal. A maioria delas se forma ao longo dos limites dos gr\u00e3os. Na zona da fratura, o metal na regi\u00e3o da fissura costuma estar oxidado e perde o brilho. As fissuras se estendem ao longo do limite dos gr\u00e3os, apresentando formato em zigue-zague, sendo mais largas na superf\u00edcie e mais estreitas no interior. Assim, algumas delas penetram at\u00e9 a face terminal de toda a pe\u00e7a fundida.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estanqueidade ao ar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A estanqueidade da liga de alum\u00ednio fundido refere-se ao grau em que a pe\u00e7a fundida de alum\u00ednio do tipo cavidade n\u00e3o apresenta vazamentos sob a a\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00e1s ou l\u00edquido a alta press\u00e3o. A estanqueidade, na verdade, indica o grau de compacta\u00e7\u00e3o e pureza da estrutura interna da pe\u00e7a fundida. A tens\u00e3o residual na liga de alum\u00ednio fundida reduz as propriedades mec\u00e2nicas da liga e afeta a precis\u00e3o de usinagem da pe\u00e7a fundida. A tens\u00e3o residual das pe\u00e7as fundidas de alum\u00ednio pode ser eliminada por recozimento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspirat\u00f3rio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As ligas de alum\u00ednio absorvem facilmente o g\u00e1s hidrog\u00eanio, e essa absor\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a principal caracter\u00edstica das ligas de alum\u00ednio fundidas. Quanto mais alta a temperatura da solu\u00e7\u00e3o da liga de alum\u00ednio, maior a quantidade de hidrog\u00eanio absorvida. A 700 \u00b0C, a solubilidade do hidrog\u00eanio por 100 g de alum\u00ednio \u00e9 de 0,5 a 0,9. Quando a temperatura \u00e9 aumentada para 850 \u00b0C, a solubilidade do hidrog\u00eanio aumenta de 2 a 3 vezes.
