O filtro de espuma cer\u00e2mica consiste em uma grade de orif\u00edcios curvos, e o metal fundido precisa passar por esse canal sinuoso para entrar na cavidade. As grandes inclus\u00f5es, que s\u00e3o grandes demais para passar pelo canal, ficam retidas na superf\u00edcie do filtro. \u00c0 medida que o volume das inclus\u00f5es aumenta, elas se acumulam na superf\u00edcie da folha do filtro e formam gradualmente um bolo de filtra\u00e7\u00e3o, de modo que apenas part\u00edculas muito finas conseguem passar.<\/p>\n
