A(s) resist\u00eancia(s) de aquecimento est\u00e1(\u00e3o) localizada(s) acima do canal de fluxo da calha, de modo que o calor proveniente das resist\u00eancias se irradie essencialmente sem obstru\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o metal, que flui no fundo da calha, e sobre o revestimento refrat\u00e1rio. Em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de opera\u00e7\u00e3o, as resist\u00eancias el\u00e9tricas s\u00e3o aquecidas a 1.100\u20131.300 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>O isolamento t\u00e9rmico \u00e9, de prefer\u00eancia, feito de l\u00e3 cer\u00e2mica, podendo o isolamento compreender uma ou mais camadas de revestimento. A l\u00e3 de isolamento na cobertura e o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/pt\/ceramic-launder\/\">canal de cer\u00e2mica<\/a> \u00e9 composto, de prefer\u00eancia, por l\u00e3 de silicato de alum\u00ednio, l\u00e3 de silicato de magn\u00e9sio ou l\u00e3 de \u00f3xido de alum\u00ednio, que resiste a altas temperaturas.<\/p>\n<p>As resist\u00eancias de aquecimento s\u00e3o suficientemente espessas, de modo que qualquer deforma\u00e7\u00e3o e curvatura causadas pelo calor s\u00e3o m\u00ednimas. A resist\u00eancia de aquecimento consiste, de prefer\u00eancia, em uma haste ou tubo met\u00e1lico de di\u00e2metro circular. Uma ou mais resist\u00eancias de aquecimento podem ser dispostas na tampa de modo a se estenderem lado a lado na dire\u00e7\u00e3o longitudinal do canal de fundi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Os resistores s\u00e3o selecionados, de prefer\u00eancia, de modo a que sua tens\u00e3o de opera\u00e7\u00e3o se situe na chamada faixa de tens\u00e3o de seguran\u00e7a. Os resistores s\u00e3o preferencialmente montados na parte da tampa sobre os chamados bra\u00e7os transversais de suporte, que est\u00e3o dispostos na dire\u00e7\u00e3o longitudinal da calha refrat\u00e1ria, transversalmente abaixo dos resistores. Os bra\u00e7os transversais de suporte podem ser hastes ou tubos met\u00e1licos revestidos com material cer\u00e2mico refrat\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>A parte da tampa cobre parte do sistema de aquecimento da calha. A tampa sobreposta e a calha constituem um canal de calha. No ponto em que o canal da calha termina na extremidade superior, ou seja, no lado do fluxo de metal que entra, forma-se uma abertura, atrav\u00e9s da qual os gases s\u00e3o descarregados, em consequ\u00eancia do efeito de chamin\u00e9, do espa\u00e7o entre a calha e a tampa.<\/p>\n<p>Na constru\u00e7\u00e3o do canal de descarga, um queimador a g\u00e1s ou um soprador de g\u00e1s quente \u00e9 instalado nesse local, proporcionando uma press\u00e3o de estagna\u00e7\u00e3o para limitar ou impedir o fluxo de g\u00e1s que sai do canal de descarga. O g\u00e1s quente do queimador ou do soprador \u00e9 direcionado para a abertura entre a tampa e a parte inferior, onde o efeito da press\u00e3o de estagna\u00e7\u00e3o se torna mais intenso. O combust\u00edvel do queimador pode ser, por exemplo, g\u00e1s natural ou g\u00e1s liquefeito. O queimador de g\u00e1s quente pode at\u00e9 mesmo ser aquecido eletricamente.<\/p>\n<p>A pot\u00eancia do queimador ou do soprador \u00e9 controlada por meio de um termoelemento instalado na extremidade inferior do canal da calha. O termoelemento indica a temperatura do espa\u00e7o de g\u00e1s na extremidade inferior do canal da calha e o efeito de resfriamento do ar frio que flui para dentro do canal da calha. Na constru\u00e7\u00e3o do canal de descarga de acordo com a inven\u00e7\u00e3o, pode-se dispor um controle de pot\u00eancia para as resist\u00eancias de aquecimento, a fim de evitar o superaquecimento das resist\u00eancias.
