Conforme afirmou o professor Xinghang Zhang, da Escola de Engenharia de Materiais da Purdue, o objetivo \u00e9 melhorar a maleabilidade e a baixa resist\u00eancia mec\u00e2nica de algumas ligas leves de alum\u00ednio, a fim de abrir caminho para uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o industrial mais ampla. Ligas de alum\u00ednio leves e de alta resist\u00eancia, com a resist\u00eancia dos a\u00e7os inoxid\u00e1veis, segundo ele, revolucionariam as ind\u00fastrias automotiva e aeroespacial.<\/p>\n<h2>Pesquisa sobre fundentes de alum\u00ednio da Purdue<\/h2>\n<p>Ele acredita que, assim que estiver dispon\u00edvel no mercado, esse processo poder\u00e1 tornar as tampas de alum\u00ednio ainda mais atraentes do que j\u00e1 se espera que sejam para os fabricantes de equipamentos originais (OEMs).<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a Purdue, a rede cristalina de um metal \u00e9 composta por camadas at\u00f4micas repetidas; os cientistas chamam as camadas ausentes de \u201cfalhas de empilhamento\u201d e as camadas duplas de falhas de empilhamento de \u201cfrentes de g\u00eameos\u201d. Reduz a fuma\u00e7a e a poeira, diminui os res\u00edduos de queima e protege o meio ambiente de forma econ\u00f4mica.<\/p>\n<p>O fluxo de refino resolve o problema tradicional do refino, que envolve grandes quantidades de ingredientes e a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de cinzas. Os aditivos de refino da AdTech t\u00eam dosagem de 1,5 a 2,0 kg por tonelada, e a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de cinzas \u00e9 de 0,8 a 1%, o que atende aos requisitos da fundi\u00e7\u00e3o de ligas de alum\u00ednio de alta precis\u00e3o, aumentando efetivamente o rendimento do metal fundido em 0,6 a 0,8%, e alcan\u00e7a o objetivo de economia de energia.<\/p>\n<p>O fluxo de refino assume granulometria uniforme ap\u00f3s o tratamento t\u00e9rmico adequado e a peneira\u00e7\u00e3o, o que facilita a transfer\u00eancia do alum\u00ednio do tanque de refino \u2014 utilizando g\u00e1s N\u2082 ou Ar como ve\u00edculo \u2014 para a camada inferior do alum\u00ednio fundido, resolvendo assim completamente o problema tradicional de obstru\u00e7\u00e3o e garantindo a qualidade da
