A temperatura de fus\u00e3o da liga de alum\u00ednio \u00e9 baixa, enquanto o ponto de fus\u00e3o de seu \u00f3xido \u00e9 muito alto. Portanto, o m\u00e9todo de remo\u00e7\u00e3o de esc\u00f3ria por flota\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 mais adequado para a liga de alum\u00ednio.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a fundi\u00e7\u00e3o, a pel\u00edcula de \u00f3xido \u00e9 imersa na massa fundida; parte dela flutua na superf\u00edcie do alum\u00ednio fundido ou adere \u00e0 parede do forno, e o alum\u00ednio l\u00edquido sofre nova oxida\u00e7\u00e3o, formando-se tamb\u00e9m as inclus\u00f5es mencionadas acima. Uma vez misturadas com o metal fundido em materiais fundidos e laminados, ocorrem inclus\u00f5es de esc\u00f3ria e forma\u00e7\u00e3o de pel\u00edcula de \u00f3xido. Isso reduz significativamente as propriedades mec\u00e2nicas e a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o dos produtos. Portanto, no processo de fundi\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua e lamina\u00e7\u00e3o, o metal fundido deve ser refinado e purificado para reduzir efetivamente o teor de g\u00e1s e inclus\u00f5es, produzindo, por fim, chapas e folhas de alta qualidade. Por isso, a tecnologia de purifica\u00e7\u00e3o do alum\u00ednio fundido \u00e9 o principal tema de pesquisa nos pa\u00edses modernos. Sua orienta\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica \u00e9 maximizar o efeito de refino e melhorar a pureza do metal, tendo como premissa a preven\u00e7\u00e3o da polui\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>Quando a liga de alum\u00ednio \u00e9 refinada com nitrog\u00eanio, uma grande quantidade de esc\u00f3rias oxidadas vem \u00e0 tona ao mesmo tempo em que o hidrog\u00eanio \u00e9 removido. \u00c0 medida que as bolhas passam pelo alum\u00ednio fundido, as part\u00edculas de \u00f3xido dispersas s\u00e3o adsorvidas nas bolhas e flutuam at\u00e9 a superf\u00edcie do l\u00edquido \u00e0 medida que as bolhas sobem. Quanto maior for o n\u00famero de bolhas e quanto maior for o tamanho delas, melhor ser\u00e1 o efeito de remo\u00e7\u00e3o da esc\u00f3ria. Os gases inertes utilizados s\u00e3o geralmente nitrog\u00eanio e arg\u00f4nio.
