Um desses processos \u00e9 o chamado filtro de espuma cer\u00e2mica para filtragem de metal fundido, que se tornou o processo mais avan\u00e7ado, especialmente nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de fundi\u00e7\u00e3o de alum\u00ednio.<\/p>\n<p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos de alum\u00ednio de alta qualidade exige processos extensos de tratamento da massa fundida, especialmente com o crescente foco na reciclagem e na sustentabilidade. A filtragem \u00e9 um processo comum para remover inclus\u00f5es n\u00e3o met\u00e1licas do alum\u00ednio, e os filtros de espuma cer\u00e2mica (CFF) s\u00e3o comumente utilizados como meio filtrante.<\/p>\n<p>Foi estudado o comportamento de umecta\u00e7\u00e3o entre o alum\u00ednio l\u00edquido e um substrato composto por Al\u2082O\u2083 industrial e filtros de espuma cer\u00e2mica \u00e0 base de SiC (CFF). O mesmo filtro CFF tamb\u00e9m foi testado em um experimento de filtra\u00e7\u00e3o em escala industrial. Os resultados do experimento de umecta\u00e7\u00e3o mostram que o material filtrante \u00e0 base de SiC apresenta melhor efeito de umecta\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o alum\u00ednio l\u00edquido do que o material filtrante \u00e0 base de Al\u2082O\u2083. Isso indica que a melhor umecta\u00e7\u00e3o do alum\u00ednio no material filtrante \u00e9 uma vantagem para a penetra\u00e7\u00e3o do metal fundido no filtro durante o vazamento. Al\u00e9m disso, devido ao melhor contato entre o filtro e o metal, a melhor umecta\u00e7\u00e3o do filtro de alum\u00ednio pode aumentar a efici\u00eancia de remo\u00e7\u00e3o de inclus\u00f5es durante o processo de filtra\u00e7\u00e3o. Inclus\u00f5es n\u00e3o umectadas s\u00e3o mais f\u00e1ceis de remover.<\/p>\n<p>Nas fundi\u00e7\u00f5es de alum\u00ednio, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alalloycasting.com\/pt\/alumina-ceramic-foam-filters\/\">filtros de espuma cer\u00e2mica de alumina<\/a> s\u00e3o normalmente utilizados para capturar inclus\u00f5es n\u00e3o met\u00e1licas. Est\u00e1 bem documentado que as inclus\u00f5es s\u00f3lidas s\u00e3o capturadas e retidas nos grandes poros do filtro, na interface metal-refrat\u00e1rio.
