Feeding Castertip

Feeding Castertip

Feeding Castertip is a key component of aluminum strip continuous casting and rolling mill, and its quality directly affects the quality and output of aluminum strip. The aluminum tip cavity is installed on the entrance side of the cast-rolling strip mill. The hydraulic cylinder drives the casting nozzle platform to slide on the sliding seat, pushing the casting nozzle and its auxiliary parts to a certain safe distance from the roll gap of the casting mill, and then the casting billet drives the casting nozzle horizontal and vertical adjustment device. The servo motor adjusts the casting nozzle to the target position, and the servo motor can individually adjust each side of the casting nozzle online as needed.

Casting Nozzle Advantages

  • Feeding Castertip can effectively prevent molten aluminum from corroding the casting nozzle and avoid carbonization.
  • Fracture tissue is a fine and uniform layered fiber structure that can prevent the existence of flocculated tissue.
  • The coating on the working surface is uniform and smooth.
  • Prevent granular cracks and coating shedding.
  • Provide guarantee for high-quality cast-rolled sheet.

Feeding Castertip products are calcined at high temperatures, do not contain organic matter, and have zero shrinkage at 800°C. They can be used in various twin-roll continuous casting and rolling mills. It is made of ceramic fiber without slag ball, used to produce aluminum plate and aluminum foil. The product has the characteristics of high strength, smooth surface and wear resistance, and is suitable for casting and rolling of high-speed aluminum plates.

Feeding Castertip

The caster tips and nozzles are coated with Boron Nitride Coating for better performance.

Specification: 5kg/barrel; 20kg/carton; or packed according to demand.

Performance and use: Brush the surface of the sink, filter box, nozzle plate and hot top casting functional material to make it contact with molten aluminum. It is made of high-purity BN raw materials, which effectively prevents functional materials from sticking to aluminum. After opening the lid, dilute with distilled water/paint: 3-6/1, stir evenly for spraying or brushing, dry and wipe with a soft cloth.
